So Then I Just Kept Running

I didn’t come from such a great home, but one day, I started running, and that seemed to make sense, so then I just kept running. BoJack, when you get sad, you run straight ahead and you keep running forward, no matter what. There are people in your life who are gonna try to hold you back, slow you down, but you don’t let them. Don’t you stop running and don’t you ever look behind you. There’s nothing for you behind you. All that exists is what’s ahead.

I gave the website another facelift.  This time I went for the minimalist aesthetic.  Loving it so far, but let me know what you think of it?  Too much?  Not enough?

I love Bojack Horseman.  It’s seriously in my top 10 of all time favorite shows.  Anytime I’m feeling down, need some insights on life, or just need to feel like I’m not the only one struggling with life, I re-watch it, and get inspired and cheered up all over again.

The one thing I hate more than walking is walking in the cold

One of the best things about track and field:  The friends (ft.  Maya Marshall and Toria Levy)

I ran at the BU Multi-Team Meet this past weekend. I had a pretty very hard workout Monday, and didn’t really ramp down workout-wise the rest of the week, so in a way, the meet was kind of like a workout in itself. Sort of. I still need to work on my start, but what else is new? The 200 felt way more difficult than it should have, but I managed to run under 25 sec. Definitely not my best, but at least I know what I need to work on now and can work on improving.

I've been published! Months ago, when I was still in Brazzaville, I wrote a short article about appearances and fitness for issue 4 of UNDO-ORDINARY and I finally got my personal copies this week. It was an amazing feeling to see my name and work printed in an actual magazine, and I’m excited to keep evolving in writing and sharing it in more spaces. You can get your own copy of UNDO ORDINARY: IV here if you want it.

Do you have a show you never get tired of?  I'm always open to fun suggestions!
